So this saturday I attended a block party on my street. Most of the families moved furniture onto the sidewalk, started the grill and enjoyed the
nice weather.
These electric toys were really entertaining to watch. With their hard rubber wheels the kids can spin the wheels and drift!
We had a costume parade for the kids. Believe it or not, the Medford cheerleader is actually a boy (took Randy a long time to figure that out).
Pie eating contest, I would have done better if I didn’t eat such a big lunch.
Watermelon eating contest, I was doing really well until I smashed Randy’s face into his watermelon piece and spent the remainder of the time trying not to spray everyone from laughing.
poop – *giggles*
Randy being forced to dance. Poor kid!
Randy and I played football against 8 kids. The rules were very unfair to us: we can’t blitz them because their quarterback has a broken foot but they can blitz the two of us, 3 completions resets to first down so they were getting like 2 feet passes, and I didn’t know anyone who can say 7 mississippi’s in 2 seconds!
In the end we still beat them but they were still trashtalking…
So my roommate works as a security guard at the TD Banknorth Garden (equivalent to the Air Canada Center in Toronto) and he was very kind to give me a tour of the place this tuesday.
The total seating is about 19,000. Here I was on the press level on the 9th floor.
Walking on the floor the NBA teams play on. I can’t imagine how it must be like if it is fill with people cheering and chanting!
The view from the roof was a 360 panoramic of the Boston skyline.
Sunrise at 5:30am. Sitting on the roof with a cup of hot coffee and chatting ain’t such a bad way to enjoy it.
Needless to say, with a little over 2hrs of sleep, I had to crawl over to shut off my alarm. Luckily they kept me busy at work and I didn’t have a chance to drool all over my keyboard and fry myself.
New Found Lake, NH.
1 1/2 more week of work! Workterm report *ahhh*. I miss home.

So today from 4-8pm our company had a summer social event and it featured lots of food, drinks, popsicles, group games, and various activities for children and those not participating at the team events.
There were 6 teams, each with 6 members. And according to the organizers I had requested PINK! (what a way to have a bad start with my teammates). We called ourselves the Pink Panthers and used some wires and our pink bandanas to make tails.
That was the pirates team, they were quite fierce.
Group shot of all the participants…after the huge water balloon fight.
I shouldn’t have done so much trash talking ahead of time…I was seriously ducking from 10 water balloons at once and in the end there were those with a few wet spots, those half wet, and me…haha.
