Haven’t updated in a while and a lot has happened recently. Here are the summary of some of the events that took place.
Christmas Dinner organized by Kathy, Jennie, and Wendy! It was a lot of fun and in the end my brother and I used the children as weapons against innocent bystanders.
Visited my cousin, their children are harlirous! The little one (far right) runs around nonstop and has powerful destructive powers.
Visited Guelph on Christmas day and we walked all over town. The light show at night was very
nice.
We got three FREE platium Raptor’s tickets so Charlie, Rishi and I went together. We also had access to a platium box, free food, drinks, ice-cream! The game was very intense and the crowd responded to every action made by the players with “oooo”, “ahhh”. We concluded it was a very good deal!
Only a few days left until work starts! Boston here I come. Happy New Year to everyone!
Done and done! Class party at Mongolian was a lot of fun and a good way to wrap up the term. We flooded Mongolian and the waitress had to shove us aside to get through.
All the boys and they pansy-ass Martinis!
AJung and Utsav arm-wrestling…then showing off their guns. haha
Fatin wanted to eat my camera!
Paul seeking revenge after Behrouz ‘flashed’ him…
Have a good work term you all!
Two more hours till the last exam. I have never wanted 40% so badly. The prof didn’t teach us anything. He read from the book about the characteristics of different sensors and then expect us to realize a system with opamp circuits and what not.
We are all a little wired after such a long exam period. Here is Ludwik thinking he is Ringo.
Our whiteboard at home…
After an exam we went out for tea and played scrabble.
- “I have too many wildcards!” “Flip them back, idiot”
- “What is a wookiee? Is it a band?”
- “Sweeto is a word right?” (trying to get that triple word score)
Going home soon, say goodbye to 2B!
I have come to the conclusion that during exam times the weather is always nice and even clouds have to be exceptionally beautiful. Perhaps that is due to the mind wanting to looking anything other than integrals…
One of our funniest profs, always telling jokes and sometimes they just end leaving us hanging in midair. He actually brought in some of his old pictures for the last day of class and the first picture is his ‘fro’!
For those in the class: radar, frog+scropion, austrailia, jack & jill, D&D, the 70′s, guillotine jokes. haha.
I hate the words ‘it is obvious…’ in textbooks, they are just there to make you feel stupid and frustrated. I hate it even more when they put that in solutions and just don’t show any work. 2 down 2 to go, 1 week and counting.
I was hit by a fever on friday after the exam and was shivering and shaking even in my winter jacket…I ended up eating 4 super-sugary pancakes and that took care of the fever pretty good. The headache stuck around for a bit longer but that could be due to the sugar :)
