Having dinner in early May:
L: I will be in Montreal for the long weekend, anyone want to join?
O: That sound good. I am in, we can carpool.
S: OK, so shall we meet Friday after work?
O: Let’s give A a surprise!
B: Nice, I will be nearby and meet up with you guys.

Meanwhile A is having a dream that B appears at his door unannounced…

This is how ABLOS came to Montreal for the Victoria Day long weekend. Shot taken with the Yashica Mat-124G in Kodak Portra 160 NC 120 film.

Oleg looking contemplatively into the distance, but really he is just thinking about smoked meat.

Anthony posing in front of his ride.

Carmen, her first time at Montreal, sampling some whipped honey at the Jean Talon Market.

Beautiful limousine parked outside the church.

My attempt at capturing our reflections, now it just looks out of focus.

Amazing pastries at Kouign-Amann Bakery…so much butter!

2 kids attracted by the strange looking camera, too bad I couldn’t show them what I captured.

Taking a coffee break at Cafe Olimpico (Rue St-Viateur Ouest & Rue Waverly), part of the Montreal culture.

Tam-Tams, a Sunday gathering of Montrealers in Mount Royal Park. The main event involve playing hand drums (“tam-tams” in French) such as djembes and others dancing to the music.
