Right before putting the car away for the year Kris and I met on a chilly Saturday morning to capture some photos for his restored 1971 Super Beetle.
Carmen was driving the lead car with all the windows down, I was jumping all around to capture from different angles.
Mostly used the 12-24mm as the wide angle distortions really enhanced the curves for the Beetle.
Beautiful color and a nice touch on the vintage roof rack.
We found this abandoned warehouse that happened to match the tone nicely.
Buzzing down Lakeshore Boulevard, the sun peeking out.
A peaceful drive in the warm glow just after sunrise.
A look under the hood, you can see the original yellow paint color compared to the new color scheme.
